Agree to lag of bag or "securtiy" feature over the code - aka you know if someone stole it.
That being said, do what it says on the bottom and they will take care of it.

When someone does buy that mag or 2 and they can prove they bought it with a receipt, your codes might get your account banned.
Good job!

Well I've he same problem. I bought it in local Barnes & Noble as well and of course my key was already in use. So I've contacted the support and I'll see, hopefully it'll get resolved. The email address given in the magazin under the code doesn't work btw.

I plan on buying two copies, and raffling the spare code to the Europeans in my guild that don't have a chance to get this.

She's also my assassin and she has very sharp Dragon Scythes
Seriously though Archer_Of_Vulpes, don't be a little scum sucking thief, go back to the walmart and buy those two magazines, ANet does watch these threads, and you just so happen to have your character name right in your profile. I would laugh long and hard if Gaile decided to be unfriendly and personally saw to it that your account was closed due to your decision to steal a couple keys.

Unfortunately, we do not know if that is really is ign or the ign of an arch rival - he may be trying to get someone else banned by using a false ign. Unlikely, I know, but possible.
And shame on A_O_V for the excuse there is nothing but corn around - farm kids play GW too and deserve to be able to buy a magazine with an unused code in it.

Same thing here. Key already used/in-use. The magazines looked barely touched.
If multiple people are having problems its prolly the keys didnt get activated or somthing. Just be patient, hopefully it will get resolved in a timely manner

No its thieves. My friend just bought a mag at the local borders and didn't think to open it to check the mag out, having read about the code being replaced by pcgamer and all. His code page had had the code ripped out!
He returned the mag to borders and picked up a clean one at von's grocery store of all places. That code worked fine as the mags there were unscathed by the thieves. Mine from there was fine, his wife's from there was also fine

So petty that anyone would want to steal codes for a goddamned minipet.
Mini's are the most pointless thing ever; why bother with them eh? It'd be better if they offered some unique boon to the player, for some reason to equip one at all.

NCSoft cannot help you, either call or email PC Gamer I found another email for them, [email protected]. If that doesn't work, call this number, 1-800-865-7240. Don't choose customer service because that is just for subscribers. I forget which one I picked, but listen to all the options.

Well, it was unlikely before you gave him the idea, wtg. I'm sure tho that there are other ways for anet to find out who he is and ban him.

I asked the brits in my alliance, plus an aussie here on guru, if anyone wanted it and they sent me the money via paypal.

I'm not even finding the issue in stores (in Oregon). Guess I'll just have to keep an eye out.

How did you handle shipping, or did they just want the code?
Either way, our alliance is pretty tight, so I don't mind being slightly altruistic in this particular case.
